De La Rosa, who is unemployed and has no permanent address, has been in jail custody since he was arrested shortly after the crime on Aug. 9, 2023.

A Police complaint accused him of attempting to enter a flat at Mei King Mansion on Mei King St., Hung Hom, “with an intent to steal therein.” No loss was reported as a result of the incident.
