Jumper days are back in HK (File) |
The Observatory says cooler days are in store
starting next week as a strong northeast monsoon is expected to sweep across
southern China over the weekend.
The minimum temperature is forecast to fall to
20 degrees in the urban areas next Monday, Nov. 13, and a couple of degrees
lower in the evening and in New Territories.
It will further drop to 17 degrees next Tuesday in
the city, and between 14 to 16 degrees in the New Territories.

But for now, the weather remains pleasantly cool at night |
The next couple of days will also be windy with
one or two rain patches, as the northeast monsoon, also known as the winter
monsoon, is set to move closer to the coast of Guangdong.
Sunny periods will replace the overcast weather on
Friday, although light showers will continue to affect the city.
