The government is rolling out a wider array of special offers to enable more people, including migrant workers, to partake of the 26th anniversary celebration of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on July 1 -- a statutory holiday.
Various government
agencies and community sectors have lined up special offers in areas including
dining, arts and culture, sports, environmental protection, fisheries and
agriculture and transport.

An updated list
of the special offers includes:
July 1 offer from Leisure and
Cultural Services Department (LCSD)
Free admission as individual users to a range of
the LCSD's fee-charging leisure and cultural facilities, including most of the
indoor and outdoor leisure facilities, public swimming pools and crafts at
water sports centres.
Free admission to the permanent exhibitions of the
Hong Kong Science Museum and Hong Kong Space Museum (except for the Space
Theatre's shows) as well as various special exhibitions including the
"Virtually Versailles" exhibition and "Out of Thin Air: Hong Kong
Film Arts & Costumes Exhibition" at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum,
"Material Tales — The Life of Things" exhibition at the Hong Kong
Science Museum and "The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Joan Miró — The
Poetry of Everyday Life" exhibition at the Hong Kong Museum of Art.
