Dr Chuang Shuk-kwan of
the Centre for Health Protection said that while the number of cases from schools appeared
to be unusually high, they were an accumulation of infections from the long
holiday weekend.
Four schools were told to suspend certain classes for a week, after recording at least three infections each. These are Ma Tau Chung Government Primary School, Leung Kui Kau Lutheran Primary School, Tung Koon School (Sheung Shui) and Sam Shui Natives Association Huen King Wing School.
