A 35-year-old Filipino domestic worker appeared in
Mark Gregor G. Baldomaro was charged with two counts of wounding for the attacks on Tirso Fernandez Jr, 36, and his friend, Reginald M. Aguilar, 33, on Saturday evening.

Police said Baldomaro was arrested in Central the following day.
No plea was taken from Baldomaro, who works for the same
employer as his wife at The Leighton Hill,

His wife was in the gallery along with some Filipino friends during the hearing of the case before Magistrate David Cheung.
According to the prosecutor, Baldomaro and Fernandez knew each other, being fellow drivers, while both their wives also worked as domestic helpers.

Baldomaro’s lawyer applied for bail for the defendant, who he said has a clear record and would stay with his wife in their employer’s house.
But the prosecutor opposed granting bail to Baldomaro, saying the charges against him are serious and there’s a risk he would abscond. Cheung agreed and denied bail.

Meanwhile, Fernandez has been transferred to the general ward of the hospital, the prosecutor said.

Magistrate Cheung adjourned the case until Mar 16 for further investigation and remanded Baldomaro in custody.
