TrainTech, an employment agency that will train newly
arrived Filipino domestic workers before they are deployed to local employers,
opened for business on Jul 28 with Consul General Antonio Morales, outgoing
Labor Attaché Jalilo dela Torre and PCG and POLO officers as special guests.
The new venture owned by Shirley Kong, has its offices at 1/F Hang Fat Bldg., 140 Wing Lok St. , Sheung
Wan. It will be managed by Global Alliance chairman Leo Selomenio, whose change
of status from foreign domestic helper to employment visa holder has been made
possible by her being recruited for the training and employment agency.
